The collection consists of 1 account book recording the sale of such items as spirits, tea, molasses, sugar, and sundries, 1783-1785; and 1 receipt book, 1783-1785, recording their payments for purchases of rice, wine, chocolate, spirits, butter, rum, flour, coffee, raisins, etc. Some of their customers were William Craft, Bedford; John Montross, Croton; Richard Cornwell, Sing Sing; Charles Thorn, Mosquito Cove; Joseph Furman, Poughkeepsie; et al. Payment was frequently made in barrels of pork.
